extends Check

Detects empty statements (standalone ';'). Empty statements often introduce bugs that are hard to spot, such as in

 if (someCondition);
   doConditionalStuff();
 doUnconditionalStuff();
 

An example of how to configure the check is:

 <module name="EmptyStatement"/>
